01/07/2008: "“Open Campus Days”"
Spring Street International School is opening its campus to prospective families and to everyone in our island communities on Wednesday-Thursday, January 9 - 10, 2008
The “open campus” offers families a convenient opportunity to experience the remarkable environment of SSIS first-hand. Families may drop by for a tour, meet with staff or teachers and visit classes. The campus will be open each day, all day from 8:15am to 5:00pm. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided.
This approach allows flexible scheduling in ferry travel or before/after work appointments. It also sets a relaxing, informal tone for families to visit at their leisure and ask questions specific to their needs.
Quality education is critical to the future of our community and our nation. A Spring Street School education can transform a student’s life. It creates a foundation for a student that teaches him/her to think critically and to gain a lifelong love of learning, resulting in extraordinary student outcomes.
Come see why SSIS parents and their kids say: “Its cool to love your school”.
For more details or to make an appointment, please contact the school at 360-378-6393.
