05/07/2007: "San Juan Historical Museum’s 2007 Silver Tea"
San Juan Historical Museum’s 2007 Silver Tea, Saturday, May 12, from 1 to 3 p.m in the museum's main building. The Museum is pleased to welcome Islander’s Bank in Friday Harbor as this year’s Presenting Sponsor. The annual spring “do” is fashioned after traditional teas of the Victorian era, and is one of the Museum’s most popular family-friendly events. Guests of all ages are encouraged to wear Victorian dress.
the menu will feature a variety of tea sandwiches, scones, tarts, and cookies, as well as an array of interesting teas. This year, the Director of the San Juan Island Ragtime Institute, David Bayley, will perform live Ragtime music in the King House.
This event is free to the public, but reservations are strongly recommended as seating is limited. To reserve, please contact the Museum at 360.378.3949.
