01/01/2006: "New Years Resolutions made possible by Island Rec!"

This is the time of the year many folks resolve to live a happier and healthier life by learning something new, exercising more, becoming more social active and spending more time with family. Island Rec is here to help you achieve these resolutions!

For teens and adults Island Rec opens Turnbull Gym every weeknight for either badminton, volleyball or men's basketball. Families can play together on Sunday Night at the gym or skate together on Saturday nights at Open Skate held at the Fair Buildings. Kids, teens and adults are invited to play indoor soccer and roller hockey on Tuesdays and Thursdays. New participants are always welcome at these drop-in programs!
