To the Editor:

Councilman. Lichter's current proposal for a county wide vote regarding the Iraq War is a complete waste of precious County resources and would only serve to showcase the personal agenda of an ill informed, albeit well meaning, small town politician assuaging his ego.

We have enough realistic projects and problems facing our small County to keep us all well occupied without bringing a fairy tale scenario into the equation. Best to stick with real problems with a realistic chance of success.
