The Port Commission will be holding a special meeting on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 for the purposes of a public hearing on the 2011 Operating and Construction Budget and the 2011 Property Tax Levy. Draft copies of the 2011 budget will be available for review on Monday, November 29, 2010 in the Port office, 204 Front Street, Friday Harbor.

Action Items:

• Adopt 2011 Operating and Construction Budget
• Adopt Revision to 2010 Operating and Construction Budget

The Port of Friday Harbor is:
• a public corporation organized under the Revised Code of Washington (RCW)
by the citizens of San Juan Island,
• operated in the manner of a private business,
• directed by a three-member board elected by district voters,
• capitalized by returns from operating revenue, revenue bonds, grants, and local property taxes,
• and managed for the economic benefit of the citizens of the Friday Harbor Port District.
