ig_ISL_Slowgirl-001 (71k image)Island Stage Left presents “Slowgirl” by Greg Pierce, aAt SJ County Fairgrounds in Marie Boe Building, Nov 15 - Dec 16 - Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 4:00 (Except 22nd and 23rd Thanksgiving).

Becky has fled to her reclusive uncle’s retreat in the Costa Rican jungle, to escape the aftermath of a terrible accident. The week they spend together forces them both to confront who they are and what they are running from. The play centers around their friendship, the many ways tragedy can unmoor a life and the power of family to both wound and heal.

Suitable for children 12 and up. Occasional colorful language. A story for everyone who has ever made a mistake…..
