11/23/2017: "Sculptures Wanted"

ig_SJISP-001 (58k image)
San Juan Islands Sculpture Park invites sculptors to submit entries for its ongoing juried sculpture review. There is no longer any “call period” . They will happily receive a submission at any time.

Submissions can be made to their impartial jury by sending a recent photo, attached to an email. Send to SJISculpturePark@gmail.com Include dimensions, material and aprox. weight. Use “SUBMISSION” as the subject line in the email.
Biographical material is not required with the submission. Sculptures are selected on the merits of the art and how it will compliment the park.

All sculptures must be deemed “safe” and should be suitable for exhibition in an outdoor setting and capable of withstanding occasional high winds, rain and possible snow.

Accepted sculptures will be installed for a two-year period (if not sold sooner) in the 20-acre park located near Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. For complete submission guidelines, visit sjisculpturepark.com.
