03/18/2017: "Farmers Market Grants"


USDA is accepting applications for grants from the Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP), to increase domestic consumption of and access to locally and regionally produced agricultural products

The goal is to develop new market opportunities for farm and ranch operations serving local markets.

There is a wide array of eligible applicants. The minimum per grant is $50,000, and the maximum is $500,000.
