06/28/2012: "Democracy Corner Is Back!"

An open house to celebrate opening of Democracy Corner will take place on Sunday, July 1st, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at 135 Second Street (adjacent to the Garden Path Café).


An opportunity to welcome and meet all those who want to preserve democracy, no matter what their political persuasion.

Guests will have an opportunity to browse through papers on many issues and literature from candidates, local, state, and national. They can pick up voter registration forms if they are new to the island or new to voting. Obama bumper stickers and buttons will be available for a suggested donation as well.
