San Juan Island School District Proposed Textbook/Curriculum Adoption Public Review is now open to to the public for comment.

Interested students, parents, and community members are invited to review and make comments regarding the district’s proposed adoption of the following textbooks and curriculum materials:

Social Studies textbook World History: Modern Times, by Jackson J. Spievlvogel, copyright 2010

Social Studies textbook The American Vision; Modern Times, by Appleby, Brinkley, Broussard, McPherson, and Ritchie, copyright 2010

Curriculum series:// Interactive Science//, Pearson/Prentice Hall Publisher copyright 2011 website: www.interactivescience.com

On Cooking - A Textbook of Culinary Fundamentals - 5th Edition by Labensky, Hause, and Martel. Copyright 2011.

Materials are available in the school district office for review from May 4 - May 29th, 2012. The materials will be presented for adoption at the regular school board meeting on May 30, 2012.
