01/05/2012: "Snowshoeing Trip with Island Rec"

Get out and get off Island for a Snowshoeing Trip and enjoy the winter wonderland through the sport of snowshoeing. Island Rec is offering an adult, off island snowshoeing program on Saturday, January 22nd.

Participants will receive instruction on basic snowshoeing techniques and simple winter safety skills while exploring gentle slopes and trails near Mt. Baker. Program fee is $66. Fee covers all transportation, instruction, equipment, and supplies. Deadline to register is January 13th. Must be 18 years or older. Call Island Rec for more information.
