Hospice is a special team concept of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. This charitable corporation was established to improve the quality of life for the terminally ill by providing guidance and support to dying persons and their families.
Hospice of San Juan honors the end of life by offering support so that they may remain at home and live with comfort and dignity. The corporation is entirely run by volunteers, and all services are free of charge.
