ig_Mike_Taylor-01 (28k image)Islanders Bank has announced that Mike Taylor has been hired as a Senior Loan Officer - Vice President.

Mr. Taylor will work in the bank's Friday Harbor Branch and will serve clients throughout San Juan, Skagit and Island counties.



Mr. Taylor was formerly Vice President for Whidbey Island Bank in Friday Harbor. Mr. Taylor worked for Whidbey Island Bank in commercial lending for the past ten years.

Prior to joining Whidbey Island Bank, he worked for Starbucks as a business planner and financial analyst and at Associated Grocers as Director of Market Research.

Mr. Taylor has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Puget Sound, a Masters of Business Administration from Western Washington University and a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington.

Mr. Taylor has been involved in many community activities and is serving on the boards of the Whale Museum, San Juan Public Schools Foundation, and the San Juan Pilots Association, which he serves as President.
