09/07/2011: "Council To Hold Town Hall Meetings This Week On CAO"

Town Hall meetings on the CAO (Critical Area Ordinance) are scheduled for this week on -in the following order: San Juan, Orcas, and Lopez. Elected officials from those islands and county staff members will be available to discuss the CAO, answer questions, and take input on the process. Full schedule below:

San Juan Island Town Hall Meeting, Wednesday 09-07-11), 12 noon to 2 pm, SJC Council Chambers.
The public may address Council Members Pratt, Peterson and Rosenfeld, & Planning Commission Members Dehlendorf, Agosta, Carlson and Lackey, also Shireene Hale, Senior County Planner will be present.

Orcas Island Town Hall Meeting, Thursday, September 8, 2011, 4:30 pm to 6:15 pm, Orcas Fire Hall, 45 Lavender Lane, Eastsound. You can speak with Council Members Miller and Fralick and Shireene Hale, Senior County Planner.

Lopez Island Town Hall Meeting, Friday, September 9, 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Lopez Library on Fisherman Bay Road, Lopez. You can speak with Council Member Jamie Stephens and Shireene Hale, Senior County Planner.

The topics for the meeting will be a summary of progress on the Update, and a detailed discussion
