08/06/2011: "United Way Needs Ideas!"
United Way Day of Caring is September 10th. This is a day each year when United Way of San Juan County does a community project on Orcas, Lopez and San Juan islands, and are looking for new ideas for 2011.
In the past they have done beach/trail cleanup, helped elderly residents with light housekeeping/gardening and/or done maintenance on public community buildings.
They would like to hear from the public ideas for what is needed or wanted this year.
Contact: unitedway-sanjuancounty.org or 378-4121.We would like to invite all members of the community to join together and participate in Day of Caring this year!
