07/26/2011: "CC Delays Wireless Ord"

The County will hold off on moving forward with the current Wireless Ordinance recommendation from the SJC Planning Commission (Final Report (pdf 548\k file)/ until a council subcommittee enters into discussions with private groups and OPALCO to expand broadband into San Juan County. OPALCO and commercial companies sent letters to the County Council asking for the delay to insure the proposed ordinance will not conflict with the broadband plans.
