07/10/2011: "Thalacker To Retire"
After nearly 40 years at the helm, John Thalacker is pleased to announce the sale of San Juan Surveying to 7TH generation islander, Bob Wilson.

John started San Juan Surveying in 1972 and over the years has built a nationwide reputation for excellence due to his remarkable achievements and contributions to the land surveying profession. During his transition into retirement, John will continue working part time at San Juan Surveying.
Bob feels fortunate to have completed his Washington State Land Surveying Licensure under John’s mentorship and is looking forward to continuing the legacy John built.
John and Bob would like to thank all past and present clients and the community for their continued support. Moreover, they would like to extend an invitation to come by the office above Rock Island at 357 Court Street to visit.
