05/29/2011: "5th Annual Spring SJ Scramble & Auction"

The San Juan LEO Club Presents the 5th Annual Spring Scramble & Auction next Sunday, (06-05-11) at 3:30 at the Golf Course to: “Help our youth support our community!” "LEO” stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.

Building character, challenging our youth, and strengthening our community.
The San Juan Island LEO Club, a community service club sponsored by the San Juan Lions Club, was organized in 2006.

Over the past five years we have undertaken many community projects including the replace-ment of the Egg Lake fishing dock, an extreme house makeover for an elderly widow, chopping and delivery of wood for the elderly, the SJI Com-munity Sports Park, and participated in many Is-land Rec events -including the annual Chil-dren's Festival with the Lions Santa Ship and visit with gifts at the Middle School for the younger kids in our community.

At this years golf and dinner event on June 5th we will inducting Audrey Olshefsky as our 6th President.

Join then if you can and/or send a donation or auction item. This is their only fund raiser of the year.
