05/14/2011: "Sailing Foundation Event"

The public was invited to "Come and play with radio controlled model sailboats at Jacksons Beach" last Sunday, by the SJISF

The SJISF (San Juan Island Sailing Foundation) is hosted an “Open Sail” at Jackson Beach on San Juan Island to allow playing with boats, and or just watch the model boats race. The public also had a chance to go sailing on a Vanguard 15 sailboat with a member of the High School Sailing Team!
