03/31/2011: "Homesteader Resturant & Bar Opens For Lunch"

After a wonderful first month of business, the re-opened Homesteader´s and Pioneer Saloon will open for lunch and will welcome everyone from noon until closing time Tuesdays through Sundays.


Some say the interior decorations alone make it worth the visit. Photos of old island families and places surround you. Also, remarkable objects from an original dairy farmers separator, to guns, lanterns, and axes, saws, from early timbering days. However, it´s the food, and economical prices that make this restaurant and bar such a great place for family and friends to dine.

Located in Best Western´s Friday Harbor Suites, it combines our island past, with today's need for quality food and low prices. Reservations are never required but just in case, call 378 DINE.
