02/14/2011: "Council On Orcas"

The County Council held their Regular Meeting on Orcas Island Tuesday (2-15-11) and approved the Sommerville Deer Harbor County Road Right-of-Way "vacation and Abandonment." (completed Agenda and related documents).

Other Orcas related items on the agenda ranged from adopting a reference line for the Mt. Baker Right-of-Way, and a boundary line modification at Judd Cove Preserve.

And there was to be a discussion of the Mini-initiative ordinance that would provide some vesting for property owners to allow assurance that the expense of developing plans and engineering will be acceptable for a known set time period. This however was not discussed
