01/26/2011: "Plumber Law Presentation"
Thursday (01-27-11)11:30am-1:30pm; FH Islanders Bank Annex: Plumbers, Well Drillers, Contractors, and other installers, suppliers, and operators of water catchment and small water systems should attend a presentation on changes to law on who can do what.
The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) will be conducting an in depth presentation on the July 2010 changes to the plumber statute RCW 18.106 and WAC 296-400A including the recent interpretations from the Office of the Attorney General. This presentation will concentrate on the certification requirements and especially on the water catchment and small water system rules. Many changes in the law affect the requirements to perform this work and L&I wants to provide education and information before strict enforcement begins.
This presentation will be beneficial to Plumbers, Well Drillers, Contractors, and other installers, suppliers, and operators of water catchment and small water systems.
