11/05/2010: "OPALCO Pays To Conserve"

The SJ Island School District announced receipt of a check for $24,106.00 from OPALCO to reimburse the district for energy conserving lighting upgrades in the high school gyms. “The savings should be substantial” said Rod Turnbull, District Athletic Director. Turnbull went on to say that the district investment in lighting upgrades is estimated to be paid off in three (3) years.
