11/01/2010: "Science Of Wetlands & Critical Areas"
Steve Neugebauer, a licensed hydrogeologist/engineering geologist with over 22 years experience, will be the guest speaker at the monthly dinner and discussion on Tuesday (11-2-10; 5:30 pm, Grange Hall, Friday Harbor).
Mr. Neugebauer is a hydrogeologist and engineering geologist for SNR Company, based in Duvall, Washington.
He has conducted studies throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Middle East (including wetland studies ) and Asia and has 15 years of experience in the Pacific Northwest, with most studies being conducted in the State of Washington. Mr. Neugebauer has extensive experience with Federal, State, and municipal regulations in the State of Washington.
He will explain what a wetland really is, and what it is in terms of regulations .
