10/18/2010: "Struggling With School Work?"
Introducing… Study Station: A great opportunity for students who need help with school assignments or those who just need a place to go study!
Minor Reinforcement, a new, local non-profit, and Friday Harbor Fire Department are working together to provide a space for high school students to study and an opportunity to receive FREE tutoring.
Twice a week (Sundays from 3-5pm and Thursdays from 6-8pm) the Study Station will be available to high school students looking for a little help (or just get away to study!) with their school subjects. The Study Station will be located in the upstairs meeting room of the Friday Harbor Fire Department. That’s the fire station on West Street, behind Kings Market.
Minor Reinforcement Mission Statement:A Christian, non-profit organization founded to create and support programs and activities that build the character and enhance the lives of San Juan Island teens.
