08/27/2010: "9/11 Constitution Workshop"

On Saturday, 9/11/2010, an all day Constitution workshop will be held at the San Juan Island Grange. The Making of America seminar conducted by the National Center for Constitutional Studies is sponsored by the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and supported by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
It is especially appropriate that this program is being presented on the anniversary of 9/11. Our freedoms are under assault. Our Constitution is worth protecting!
The seminar will offer a refreshing look at the solid principles from the preamble through the amendments to the Constitution. Participants will learn how nearly every problem in America today can be solved by adhering to the Constitution's concepts and principles.
The program costs $15 for pre-registered adults and is free for students. Lunch and a 135 page study guide will be provided. Registration after 9/7/10 is $20 for adults and $5 for students. Space is limited to 80 participants so sign up early. The content is appropriate for 8th grade through adult.
