06/22/2010: "World Champion Firewise Team Looking for New Members"

The 2009 "World Champion" Firewise Precision Drill Team, that marched in last years Fourth of July Parade, is looking for new members. The team will practice a few times before the final competition which will be held again this year at the District #3 headquarters fire station on Mullis Street.

The team is looking for participants that would like to promote the Firewise program. Having a skill is not necessary. The team will be led by a world class twirller that can teach anyone to fit into our" extremely talented" team.

Some would say that precision may not be the best word to describe our team but we are all heart. To join the team call Ron Garner at 378-7722. If an individual Firewise Community would like to enter their own team that would be acceptable.
