04/30/2010: "Britt & Cecil In FH"

Local musicians Britt Arnesen & Cecil DeMeerleer are performing at The Bean Coffeehouse: Friday, 7 to 9 -No cover charge- through 6/25.
"The world is lewd and crude, but your daughter’s music doesn’t have to be. 907Britt speaks to and from the heart through music, to entertain and inspire for all ages."
Britt Arnesen jokes she is "old enough to know better but young enough to do it anyway" so self-employment as an artist suits her well. You can find her brightly colored tights and portable studio just about anywhere. To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of when she first played there, Britt released her debut album, Continental Divide, during the Alaska Folk Festival in Juneau April 8, 2010.
The entire album can be heard (free streaming) or purchased directly from the artist at www.907Britt.com. 907Britt also keeps a strong presence on YouTube, where you can find a treasure trove of live recordings and music videos. For keeping up with the day-to-day, Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with Britt.
Currently in Friday Harbor, Washington, 907Britt plays every Friday from 5-7pm at The Bean Coffeehouse downtown.
