02/25/2010: "Morris "Meets" With Voters"

Speaker Pro Tem Jeff Morris (D - Mount Vernon) used a speaker phone Thursday night for a telephone town hall and liveblog meeting. The tele-town hall began with a call from Rep. Morris to nearly 30,000 registered voters in the 40th District (San Juan, eastern and northwestern Skagit and southwestern Whatcom counties).

The those called were invited to stay on the line and join in on a conversation with Morris. For others interested in participating, they were told they could phone in directly between 6:20-7:20 p.m. by dialing toll-free (877) 229-8493 code: 15559
