The Superior Court's role is to decide cases before it "fairly and impartially, based solely on applicable facts and law."
As the County Clerk and Clerk of the Superior Court, Joan White's role is to make sure the administration of the court is accomplished in a manner that provides "efficient and courteous service to all, to promote respect for the law, and to provide equal access to justice."
Joan has announced she plans to seek re-election for the Clerk position to continue to provide that service.
She stated "It has been a tremendous honor to serve the people of San Juan County as Clerk since 2007. I am devoted to my work, and if re-elected, am committed to ensuring that the clerk’s office continues to meet the needs of our citizens and the challenges of the future with competence, efficiency and enthusiasm."
