10/07/2009: "Swim Lessons"

The next session of swim lessons at San Juan Island Fitness begins on Wednesday, October 7. Spaces available. $60 for non-members, $50 for members; includes 6 half hour lessons plus an additional hour of lifeguarded free swim each lesson day. Lessons are held after school.

From 9-10am a child 5 and under and an adult can enjoy their own water play for just $5 (plus tax) per couple. There will be a lifeguard on duty, but no instructor--it's all about the parent-child playtime! No need to sign up, just show up. (We reserve the right to limit the number in the pool at one time to comply with state bather-load regulations.)

Little Pool Play Time begins Friday, October 9. Punch cards will be available for purchase starting Oct 9, 5 swims for just $20 (plus tax). Punch cards have an added advantage, they may also be used during regular lifeguard swims on Saturday and Sunday from noon-1:30 pm.

San Juan Island Fitness encourages youth of the island to take advantage of their $5 Fun Day Monday special. Any island child under 15 may swim at the Fitness Center from 3-4:30pm on Mondays for just an even $5. There's no need to be a member or a guest of a member. Just be sure to sign in and pay at the front desk and don't forget to bring your towel!
