Classes for Girls in Grades 3-5. Find out why Hula is a dance for the Earth with Hula instructor Alice Hibberd
Tuesday and/or Wednesday; September 22 & 23, 2:45 to 4:00 p.m., meet at the Playground benches at the FH Elementary School
Come to one or both classes! Find out why Hula is a dance for the Earth. Listen to the lessons of a Hawaiian legend. Create your own hand movements to express appreciation for nature. Learn how basic hula steps tell a tale of the Earth and Sea. Practice rhythms using Hawaiian implements. Show your gratitude for the rain cycle by dancing the hula
Alice Hibberd will conduct the hula classes. Hilbberd is sponsoring the class and is a cerfited teacher with a Masters in Education.
