09/05/2009: "Bills Are In The Mail Somewhere.."

Some of the Town of Friday Harbor Utility Bills mailed last Monday out of Portlandhave yet to show up for those who received their mail in Friday Harbor. However for those who have a back balance, they still owe the money will receive a shut off notice after the 10th.

The Town is "working closely with our local- and VERY helpful Post Office in trying to track where they might have gone from Portland, but we're not sure at this point. The bad news is that everyone will eventually get their bills- even if we have to reprint them."
