08/13/2009: "Keep The $ Here"

There is a lot of good food to buy at the fair, but for home style cooking, and to keep your money in the county, there are excellent opportunities to both chow down and support local non-profits.

For example (and there are others) each night one of the service clubs serves up a full dinner at the Bar-B-Q pit, then there is the PTA pie shop with donated home made pies for sale (with ice cream), by the slice or the whole pie, and of course the original America Legion hamburger/ hot dog et al stand that is a decades old SJC Fair tradition.

Have a good time, eat well, keep the money in the County. See you at the fair.
