Most folks cook and with grocery prices rising, food preservation is coming back in style. That's why the Brown family invites islands' residents to be a part of the combined baking and food preservation departments at the San Juan County Fair.

Representing three generations of islanders, Linda, Terri, Rachael and Kris Brown are working together to superintend these two areas and are looking for fair entries, judges and volunteers to staff the booth.
