07/08/2009: "New Grants For MRC"

The Department of Ecology has awarded $193,103 to SJC Marine Resurces Committee (MRC) for continued funding of a Pollution Prevention Program.
The grant will allow an existing technical assistance program for business owners manage hazardous materials. The grant will also be used to aid County and Town of Friday Harbor operations to reduce pollution, runoff and waste; and will fund a stormwater outreach program that will provide a low impact development demonstration project.
