02/27/2009: "Attorney Kaiman Honored"
Attorney Mark A. Kaiman has been honored as a "Rising Star" for 2009 by the Washington Law & Politics magazine. He is a former SJC Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, and a state and city prosecutor.
He also occasionally serves as a judge pro tempore in San Juan County District Court.
Kaiman has been a frequent guest lecturer at Western Washington University on the issue of civil rights. Kaiman's practice focuses on criminal law, family law, and real estate and land use litigation
Each year, the Washington Law & Politics magazine undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by an attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are recognized as Super Lawyers each year.
