02/20/2009: "Public Hearing On Housing"

The County is in the process of updating portions of the County Comprehensive Plan, and part of that process was a public hearing on the Housing Element of the Plan. The SJC Planning Commission held a hearing Friday in Friday Harbor to take public testimony on the proposed changes; but only two members of the public -both from Orcas- showed up. ( Full Agenda ) Note: After the Planning Commission completes their work, they will then forward it to the County Council, who will in turn hold at least one public hearing prior to taking any formal action
