01/13/2009: "SWAC Votes OnTheir Site Choice"

The SWAC voted seven to one on Monday (1-12-09) to forward their recommendations for a transfer site to the County Council. The Recommendation includes a split vote on the recommendations, and will also include minority opinions from two of the members.

The County Council will receive the recommendations from SWAC at a joint session on January 26. Once a site is selected, their choice will be open to the next round of planning and public comment periods.
