12/27/2008: "Jack Nash at Vinny’s"

Jack Nash, brother to local singing sensation Debbie (Nash) Strasser, performed at Vinny’s Restaurant Saturday night. Jack was up for a visit with the Nash family and friends for the holidays, and agreed to sit in and play for the dinner crowd at Vinny’s on Friday and Saturday night.

Jack grew up on San Juan, left, joined the Navy, and after he got out he began started taking lessons from the brilliant San Diego guitar teacher Wayne Riker. He is now performing solo, and also with singers Leah Bentley and Ian Daniels. You can hear Jack Play and Leah sing on this website . Jack does jazz, blues, Beatles, James Taylor...you name it.
