12/15/2008: "A Silver Lining In The Storm For FH"

When the "State Auditor Nixes FH Stop Work Payment," it looked like the disruption of the main streets in Friday Harbor would continue right through the Chrismas shopping period, but the storm has changed that.

The Chamber of Commerce announced that the contractor, Strider Construction, has decided to close down operations on the Sewer Project until Jan. 5 due to adverse weather..... and, at no cost to the Town.
