11/17/2008: "Request for SJI Proposals"

FH High School and its Community Council have released the eighth Request for Proposals (RFP) under a Connecting Schools and Communities Initiative. This RFP seeks ideas for projects that could be completed by Friday Harbor High School students.

Proposals, which are due by January 9, 2009, will be ranked by the benefits to the community, among other measures.

The Council has allocated $5000 for this solicitation and expects to issue about five grants but the amounts and numbers of awards will depend on the proposals received.

Any questions should be addressed to either Callie Bartlett (298-4085), FHHS student, or to Larry Wight (622-6586), FHHS staff. Copies of the RFP can be downloaded from http://www.sjisd.wednet.edu/fhhs/communitygates/needsassessments/090109-RFP.doc
