08/18/2008: "Big John Has Passed On"

An island Lion and member of the American Legion, “Big John” Vejvoda has passed away.

Mr. Vejvoda left us Saturday night, August 16, 2008, at his home on San Juan Island. He is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters Nancy and Susie; and son John.
