05/15/2017: "Soroptimist Free Seminar For Women."


Back by popular demand, Soroptimist International of Friday Harbor is presenting the sixth annual free seminar for women. The seminar focuses on practical, but not always accessible, topics like legal issues, budgeting, and community resources.

“Practical Magic 2.0” will be held Saturday May 20, from 8:30 a.m. -" 2 p.m. at Skagit Valley College, Friday Harbor Campus.

There will be a free lunch provided by Soroptimist International of Friday Harbor. There are only 35 spots available, so please register soon by emailing sifriseminar@rockisland.com

Founded in 1996, the Friday Harbor club is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas, a global organization that works to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Friday Harbor members join with almost 80,000 Soroptimists in about 120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women and girls.
