Marie McCaffrey, Executive Director of HistoryLink.org, the nation’s first encyclopedia of community history created expressly for the Internet via video conferencing will give a presentation at 10am on Monday, May 14th at the Orcas Library Conference Room.
HistoryLink.org contains over 6,000 essays on Washington state history and serves as a resource for students, teachers, genealogists, journalists, scholars, researchers, and the general public.
Ms. McCaffrey will be meeting with local history writers at the San Juan Island Library and her presentation about HistoryLink.org will be broadcast to Orcas and Lopez Island Libraries.
