The San Juan County Council started their Monday morning meeting on Lopez today by cutting a symbolic ribbon to celebrate the rebuilding and widening of Fisherman Bay Road -a nearly five year long project that got a final financial boost from $2M in grants and $416K in stimulus funds.

The work is not complete, there is still a finish and flood coat to make it smooth, but it a great improvement over what was there.
