09/29/2009: "Budget Discussions By CC Continue"

After formulating a response to the No-Go-Zone (story above), the County Council will return to the 2010 budget discussions (see below for links). At 2:30 the Council will hear from Community Services, including the following departments:
* Community Development & Planning - John Manning, HCS Director
* Parks & Recreation, Dona Wuthnow, Parks Director
* WSU Extension, Noxious Weed - Tom Schultz, Extension Director
* Fair - Rev Shannon, Fair Director
* Land Bank - Lincoln Bormann, Land Bank Director

At the Monday Counci-Staff Work session, the Council heard from:

1. Superior Court - John Linde, Superior Court Judge
2. Clerk - Joan White, SJC Clerk
3. Juvenile Court - Tom Kearney, Juvenile Court Administrator

* Law & Justice: District Court - Marion Melville, District Court Administrator
* Law & Justice: Prosecutor, Coroner, Law Library, Crime Victims Fund - Randall Gaylord, Prosecuting Attorney
* Law & Justice: Sheriff, Jail, Emergency Management, Enhanced 911 Communications - Bill Cumming, SJC Sheriff
