04/16/2009: "Stand Up Tea Party On The Lawn"

(Part of the Party on the court house lawn)
There may have been larger Tea parties in other towns and cities yesterday to protest taxes, but they may not have been as smiley and happy of the a small group that showed up on the court house lawn.
Adding to the interest was one party crasher to the party, John Manning, Director of the San Juan County Health & Community Services Department, showed with his own sign demanding “More Taxes Now”. Manning said he was asked for his wallet by a couple of the folks at the “party”, but declined to hand it over, explaining he had just sent in his money to the government.
