08/28/2008: "In Case You Missed The 1st One"

There will be one more informational meeting before the public hearing on the site selection for a new "Transfer Station" on San Juan Island.

The informational meeting will be held at the Fire District building at 1011 Mullis Street on August 28 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

This will be yet one more opportunity to ask questions of the technical experts who drafted the EIS. County staff will also be there to answer questions on the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) process and the solid waste transfer facility.
