07/16/2007: "Orcas Island Recreation Program"
Orcas Island Recreation has several programs starting on the 16th, and running through the 26th.
Day Camp For Children Ages 3 - 6
July 16-20 (9:30 am - 12:30 pm) (elementary school room 410)
Boys and girls ages 3-6 will love getting together at this annual Recreation Program camp! Outside and inside activities such as games, stories, puzzles, music, art projects, building, and playing with new friends are sure to be enjoyed by your little ones. Snack will be provided. Please bring a lunch. You may register for the week or by the day. Drop-ins are okay though pre-registration is appreciated (376-5339). Parents are welcome to stick around during the camp.
$60/session or $15/day. Sponsored by the Orcas Island Recreation Program

Boys Basketball Camp
July 17-19 (3:00-5:00 pm)
Orcas High School Gym
Boys entering grades 5-9
Cost: $40
Improve your skills, have fun, learn from former and current Orcas High
School players during the summer basketball camp for boys entering
grades 5-9. There will be individual and group instruction, fun drills,
and games. Scrimmaging will be separated into two groups. This camp is
for players who would like to play on middle school, junior varsity, and
varsity teams as well as boys who do not plan to play on a team and
would like to learn skills and have fun. All levels of players are
welcome. It will be fun! Sponsored by the Orcas Island Recreation Program (376-5339).

Join your friends, make new friends and sharpen your skills playing summer soccer at Buck Park. Fun games, scrimmages and mini world cup play. Led by Suzanne Olson, youth soccer coach for 20+ years. Let's play soccer! Parents are welcome to come out and volunteer. Bring cleats, shinguards, ball and water
